Mirror

So I decided to have a mirror to go into my installation. At first I was going to make one and make my own frame however there was just not enough material left in the art department. I had to take time out of my lesson to wonder the high street. Luckily after searching Oxfam charity store had just what I was looking for and when I did buy it I eventually thought to myself that the mirror is actually quite big, when I placed it on my piece it was just the perfect size.

£2.99 not bad.

Extra Movie Making (Woman's Outfit)

While I was filming my recreating my scenery I decided to also film a little 'behind the scene' getting the bride's outfit ready. I used the same effects on Imovie as I did in my recreation clips. 

I sped up the video and added an effect called 'Old World'

Left Side...

Two layers of organza as one layer was just two clear and transparent which did not help the wall have the effect it should.

Thicker satin like material on to to give the wall a more homely feel it makes the room see more warm and the way I have draped it is a way like how curtains would be in front of a window.

Right Side...

Two layers of organza as one layer was just two clear and transparent which did not help the wall have the effect it should. However the red organza didn't really need the two layers as much as the gold organza did.

I liked the way I draped the red material as it has more of a curve to it whereas the gold material is more straight and I need to adjust this again.

The piece is coming together nicely, and now I just have to wait until I have an actual space in the exhibition so I can work into it more.
